Two Crust Pie
Ingredients
4 rounded c. frozen fruit (any kind)
1 level c. sugar
Half & half
Prepared unbaked pie crust, 2 layers
3 rounded T. flour
2 tsp. vanilla
Sugar for sprinkling
Instructions
Mix fruit, flour, sugar and vanilla together in a bowl and add to the prepared unbaked pie crust bottom. Moisten pie crust edges with water.
Use unbaked pie crust topper. Lay out on top and cut off excess.
Crimp with either a fork or fingers.
Cut air holes in top crust.
Brush with half & half and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake in 325˚F convection oven for about an hour. Needs to be golden-brown and bubbling in the middle.
Allow to cool for at least an hour before cutting.
NOTE: You use this recipe for all pies. The only thing for apple pie is you add ½ teaspoon of cinnamon to fruit mixture.
