Ingredients

  • 5 eggs

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1 T. Mexican vanilla

  • 1 (12.5 oz.) jar caramel

  • 1 can evaporated milk

  • 1 c. heavy cream

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Pour caramel into round cake pan.

  2. Pour all ingredients in mixer and blend until smooth and light. Pour over caramel.

  3. Bake at 325 F˚ on Bain Marie (water bath) for 1 hour or until golden-brown on top. Make sure water covers at least ¼ of your flan pan.

  4. Let cool completely, and refrigerate in pan at least 2 hours.

  5. Unmold by turning over a round semi-deep plate.
